Fly fishing in the Tahoe area?  You bet!  The Lake Tahoe area is a world-renowned, diversified recreational playground.   The addition of both public and private trophy trout angling in the area's alpine waters make this the premier outdoor site in the pristine High Sierra.

In 2009 I will again be venturing into Chilean Patagonia; specifically, near the Chilean town of  Coyhaique; 1000 miles-plus (1260 kilometers) south of Santiago.  I will "host", and have reserved, two weeks;  Janurary 31 to  February 7 and February 7-14,  2009 at the Picacho Lodge.  It is located in an isolated river valley; there is no road access, only by a 40 minute,  jet-boat ride down-river via the Rio Picacho. Simply, it is remote. The lodge accommodates only six (6) fly anglers. The stay entails 7 nights/6days of guided fly fishing. We had a fabulous time there during the two weeks of 1/26-2/9/08.

The "hosted" week is attractively priced at $2500. If there is more interest  in a "hosted" second week, I'll attempt to reserve for the same fee.  For other than the "hosted" week/s;  the fee via my referral, is $3000 per person (...you arrange  flights to Chile...plus gratuities to the staff).  For specific information, feel free to contact me.
